Poland beat Albania 1-0 walked away after Pelted Bottles & stones

Poland beat Albania 1-0 in European Qualifying walk off the pitch after Fans Pelted Bottles & stones.



 Robert Lewandowski admitted it was ‘dangerous’ in Albania as his Poland side were pelted with bottles and object after scoring. 


Karol Swidersky gave his side a 77th minute goal to lead 1-0 in their crucial World Cup qualifier. 

But there were shocking scenes as missiles rained down on the Poland players, who were celebrating their goal. 

Kamil Glik reacted furiously while Lewandowski stood with his hands raised in the air. 

Poland left the pitch following the disgusting incident and the match was suspended for around 20 minutes. 

The players eventually came back out and played the remaining 13 minutes to complete the match. 


They held on to win 1-0 and leapfrogged Albania into that all important second place.
