Liverpool Strike first, Brighton bounce back to equalizer 2-2

Reds give early Leads, Brighton Seagulls Fight back 2-2 to Draw, Liverpool missed the Top Table position.



 Liverpool made it 20 Premier League games unbeaten, But Jurgen Klopp's side were denied victory at Anfield after Brighton and Hove Albion recovered from 2-0 down to draw.


 Jurgen Klopp's side looked set for victory when Jordan Henderson struck after just four minutes to put the home team ahead of the Seagulls. 

20 minutes later Sadio Mane doubled the lead, and it appeared they were cruising to another Anfield win.


BUT........


 However Enock Mwepu grabbed the first for Graham Potter's men four minutes before the end of the first half to give them hope.


 Leandro Trossard then levelled just after the hour mark to record a surprise draw for Brighton.


 - Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has not lost any of the 52 Premier League home games in which he has scored (W47 D5), the best such unbeaten record in the competition's history. 


- Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has provided an assist in each of his last four Premier League games, becoming just the fourth African player to do so in the competition's history after Gervinho, Yaya Toure and Wilfried Zaha.



 What's next match Fixtures for  Liverpool and  Brighton and Hove Albion.? 



Liverpool host Atletico Madrid in the Champions League actions on Wednesday, 3rd November, while Brighton entertain in League match against Newcastle United next Saturday, 6th November.
